🎆 COMMUNITY NOTICE: FIREWORKS AT FRIDAY NIGHT’S FOOTBALL GAME 🦅🏈 As part of Friday night’s 100-Year Celebration and Hall of Fame Game at Clay Memorial Stadium, fans and nearby community members should be aware that professional fireworks will be used throughout the evening as part of a special game-day experience. 💥 Fireworks are planned for: • During portions of and at the conclusion of the National Anthem 🇺🇸 • Each time the Eagles score a touchdown and following the extra point • Following the Clay Marching Band’s halftime performance • During an approximately 8-minute postgame fireworks show All required permits for the fireworks display have been pulled and obtained. The display has also been coordinated with the Oregon Police Division (OPD) and Oregon Fire and Rescue to help ensure the event is conducted safely and responsibly. Because of the noise associated with the fireworks, we want to provide advance notice to our neighbors, families with young children, veterans, individuals who may be sensitive to loud noises, and pet owners so everyone has an opportunity to prepare accordingly. A huge THANK YOU to our Department of Athletics partners, Danny’s Café and Maumee Bay Turf Center, for making this experience possible! One of our continued goals within Clay Athletics is to create first-class experiences for our student-athletes, families, fans, and community — experiences that make Friday nights at Clay special and create memories that extend well beyond the final score. We are incredibly fortunate to have community partners who believe in that vision and continue to invest in our students, our programs, and our community. Friday night will be more than a football game. It will be a celebration of 100 years of Clay High School, our Hall of Fame Class of 2026, and generations of Eagles who have proudly represented our school and community. We appreciate the support and understanding of our surrounding community and look forward to an unforgettable night at Clay Memorial Stadium! 🦅 100 Years of Clay. Celebrating Our Past. Creating Memories for the Next Generation.

Congratulations Clay Thespians! Throughout this past school year, several students in Clay’s Musial Theatre program have participated in a months-long process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing as part of the Educational Theatre Association’s International Thespian Society program. This organization recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement in theatre at the local, state, and international levels. Last fall, Reed Mittendorf, Olivia Ruiz, and Brock Stuller earned the highest scores possible for their competition performances at the Ohio Thespian Fall Expo and qualified to advance and compete at the International Thespian Festival this summer. This past weekend, they were recognized at the annual Ohio Thespian Festival held in Chillocothe, OH for their achievement. Additionally, Reed and Brock were cast and performed in the All-Ohio production of Ragtime, and Olivia was selected to perform her competition dance in the Thespy showcase. Congratulations to all! We are very proud of you!

Our students had so much fun hosting our NHS senior project, the Elementary Activity Night! From coloring and bracelet making to our bake sale, raffle prizes, and bingo and trivia tournaments, this event turned out to be even more than we could have imagined! With your support, we are proud to donate the proceeds from this event to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, along with the collected canned goods to a local food bank, making the impact even more meaningful to us. Moments like this remind us just how strong and supportive our community truly is. Thank you to all the organizers, students, parents, and everyone who came out to support us. We couldn’t have done it without you! A special thank you to Culver’s, Imagination Station, Toledo’s Science Center, Dairy Depot, Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, YMCA, and Lake Erie Center for generously donating items for our raffle prizes. It meant so much to see so many future Eagles in our community. We loved getting to spend time with you all! We had such a blast putting this together and hope you had just as much fun as we did! 🦅💚💛
